We provide a basic introduction to riding with how to approach, mount and ride the basic gaits (walk, trot and canter). Our price outline is as follows:

Hire of horses
Premadasa Riding School (Pvt) Ltd is the only institution that offers its horses and available carriages for weddings and ceremonies. Its stable of 38 horses comprising of Indian and Sri Lankan thoroughbreds, Marwari and half breds, provide a palette of colours, temperaments and abilities to choose from.

At present we have the only dancing Marwari horses in the island, complete with their traditional Rajastani dance gear.

Our horses are also made available to some of the prominent Hotels in the island such as the Riverina (Beruwela), Kandalama Hotel and The Elephant Corridor.

Sri lankan Horse Safaris

Our latest addition to our portfolio has been the promotion of horse riding safaris in both local and international markets. We have outlined a unique set of trails that provide an insight to Sri Lanka not seen in many regular tours.

Affiliations
The Riding School is also an active member of the national federation for equestrian sports - the Sri Lanka Equestrian Association (affiliate of FEI – world body for equestrian sports) and is dedicated to improving equestrian sports in Sri Lanka. Our achievements in this field include organizing of the first horse show (2003), endurance race (2004) and beach races (2000, 2001, 2003, 2004) have many exciting equestrian activities in store for the future.
